Visit Finland has recognized the importance of strengthening inclusion and equity as a key focus area for the tourism sector. To advance this goal, Visit Finland and deidei updated essential materials, indicators, and learning and development content in the Inclusive Tourism package designed for Finnish travel companies and operators. ​

The core aim of the project was to strengthen tourism operators' inclusion skills as well as understanding of inclusive travel. The project had four phases: participatory background mapping, updating Visit Finland’s materials, training their staff, and supporting external communication.​​
